Billing questions
Is there a free version?
No. ReScreen is paid-only: the app shows a sign-in screen until an account with an active plan unlocks recording. In exchange there is no watermark, no time limit and no feature held back for a higher tier.
What happens if my card fails on renewal night?
Nothing immediate. A failed renewal never stops a recording halfway through: update your card and the plan carries on exactly as before.
What happens when I cancel?
Access runs to the end of the period you have paid for and then stops. Your recordings are ordinary files in a folder you own, so they stay exactly where they are.
Can I move my licence to a new Mac?
Yes. Release the old Mac from Settings → Account and sign in on the new one, so replacing a laptop does not mean buying the app again.
Does the lifetime licence really never expire?
Yes. It is a one-time purchase rather than a subscription, and it carries no expiry date at all.
Who handles the payment?
Checkout is handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Card details are never seen by the app or by this site.
